National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) has been recognized by the St. Charles County, Mo., Economic Development Council (EDC) with the Spotlight Award for June of 2014.
“We’re extremely honored to receive the Spotlight Award,” said Jackie Rocha, Manager, Office Services and Facilities at NISC’s Lake Saint Louis facility. “We’ve been the best-kept secret in the St. Charles County area, but that secret is getting out through connections with many local businesses and other organizations. This recognition means a lot to us, and we’re very lucky to be able to work with a great group like the St. Charles County EDC.”
The Business Spotlight Award is presented to a local St. Charles County business based on several criteria including job growth, economic impact, civic involvement and entrepreneurial success. NISC was presented the award for serving more than five million consumers across the globe with utility and telecommunication services, along with continued growth and success in the St. Charles County, Mo., area. The award recipient is determined by a standing committee of St. Charles County EDC called the Economic Development Roundtable (EDR).
