NISC Sponsored and Exhibited at NTCA and NRECA Events
Mandan, N.D., March 10, 2023 – National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), a leading provider of software solutions to utility and broadband companies, made overall Membership value the focus at the NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association (NTCA) Rural Telecom Industry Meeting & Expo (RTIME) event Feb. 19-22 in San Diego, Calif. and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) TechAdvantage Experience & Expo event March 5-8 in Nashville, Tenn.
NISC sponsored and exhibited at both events. In addition, the cooperative also held Annual Membership Updates at each event, each with record-breaking attendance. Themed “Vision of Value,” the updates featured a presentation by NISC President and CEO Dan Wilbanks on the latest NISC tools and solutions for Members and their end users, future developments and how NISC strives to provide value in all that the cooperatives does – with a focus to solve, support and serve NISC Members and employees.
“These events are a great opportunity for us to meet with our Members, to learn more about their needs and also to share the progress we made in the last year,” said Dan Wilbanks, NISC President and CEO. “Our focus is to keep the conversation going with our Members so we can continue to work together to develop solutions for tomorrow’s challenges.”
The Membership Updates also provided information on the recent Director election for NISC’s Board. As a result of the online Director voting, the following Directors were elected and officially took office January 12, 2023 for a three-year term.

NISC also recognized and thanked retiring Directors Larry Knegendorf and Robert Loth. Knegendorf previously served as General Manager for Baldwin Lightstream for 34 years and now serves on their Board of Directors. Loth has been the CEO of Central Texas Electric Cooperative in Fredericksburg, Texas, for over 25 years and served on the NISC board for 10 years. The meetings wrapped up with an update on what is yet to come in 2023.

And at the end of the day, all of this technology is based on relationships and trust, and we attend these industry events to continue to build on that with the NISC Membership.”
