Denver, Colo., Sept. 18, 2023 — National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), a leading provider of enterprise software and solutions to utility and broadband companies, kicked off its 2023 Member Information Conference (MIC) on Sunday, Sept. 17, with NISC President and CEO Doug Remboldt taking the stage to address yet another record-breaking crowd. More than 3,100 Members, guests, industry partners and NISC staff gathered for this premier learning event hosted at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Denver, Colo.
Remboldt’s Opening General Session presented a solid message to the Membership, one of focus, determination and discipline to bring much needed solutions and services to market with a proactive mentality, from the development of solutions to the support of those solutions and all points in between.
“The theme of the MIC runs parallel with the overall vision of NISC, the promise to provide value to the Membership in all we do,” said Remboldt. “And to deliver on this promise, we will do that with a focus on our Members, our solutions, our support and our partnerships.”
At the end of Remboldt’s address, the NFL’s all-time leading rusher, Emmitt Smith, took the stage and shared what a championship vision truly is and how discipline is key to leadership in any role.
The MIC is NISC’s premier learning event and will be held Sept. 17-20. The event is an excellent opportunity for NISC to learn more about industry challenges, unveil the newest technologies and share best practices to ensure all NISC Members are using the suite of enterprise solutions to the greatest potential. The four-day event will feature 165 concurrent sessions, with nearly 50 of them being led by the Membership themselves.
“Our vision is to deliver the most value possible to our Membership, to know when they arrive at their offices after the event, they have new tools and processes to better serve their communities and to make their jobs more efficient,” Remboldt said. “The highlight of my MIC experience each year is walking into the convention center and seeing thousands of our friends – Members, guests, staff and industry partners alike – catching up with one another and continuing to build on the relationships they have developed over the years.”
